Being used to having my fussy cats board at a trusted facility for years, I was suddenly faced with having to look for an alternative in the midst of the pandemic. I discovered Breeny Pet Resort and what a find it was. I was allowed to come up and do a (socially distanced) viewing and ask any questions I had, and when my felines spent a weekend there to trial the new surroundings and see how they would feel about it, I was pleasantly surprised to find them very settled and happy on my return. The facility provides everything needed so no lugging around of food and blankets and is not overly expensive. Both cats were happy to be home again but certainly showed no signs of having been unhappy at Breeny Pet Resort and I would certainly board them there again.

...When we picked our kitten, he had a deep scratch on his nose and when asked the reason, the cattery suggested that it was due to the flap inside the cattery. It’s been more than a week and the scratch can still be seen. Also, kitten had severe diarrhoea on the same day when we picked him up. We took him to the vet and ended up paying more than what we paid to the cattery. As per the vet, the cattery didn’t feed him the advised diet and gave him different food. We particularly advised the cattery staff about his diet food but still it seems like they ignored it and gave him a different diet. The one star we are giving is only for the friendly staff. But overall the experience was traumatising for us and our kitten as our he hasn’t recovered yet...
