When I picked my cats up construction was occuring metres away from the cat accomodation. This included the use of very loud power tools such as the table saw that seemed to be going constantly while I was there. Judging by the amount of work that had been done I'm guessing this construction had been going on most of the time my cats had been there, no wonder they both seemed upset and stressed!
