About the Facility

Reed House Kennels offers a cattery that aims to be a home away from home for visiting cats. The staff, noted for their warmth, friendliness, and experience, provide individual attention to each cat, ensuring a comfortable stay. The cattery is built to the highest welfare standards, featuring spacious chalets with separate units that allow cats to observe their surroundings without direct contact with neighbours. Hygiene is a top priority, with sneeze-barriers between chalets cleaned and disinfected between stays. Each sleeping area is equipped with individual heaters, and a variety of dry and tinned foods are stocked to cater to every cat’s preference. Additional comforts include top-of-the-range bedding, scratch pads, and toys, and an environmentally friendly wood-pellet cat litter is used. Reed House also offers a pick-up and drop-off service for added convenience, with possible additional costs.

Both my cat and now my dog stay at Reed House. We have used Reed House for our cat for 6 years. Prior to using Reed House we had tried two other kennels and it was clear when picking our cat up that he was distressed and upset. From the first time at Reed House you could tell the difference. When we picked up he was relaxed and calm When we got him home he just carried on like he had never been away.

Picked up my cat and he looked extremely sad and ruffled. He hadn't been given the amount of food I had provided for him! I got him home and he consumed 3 full pouches of his food like he was starving! He has been very clingy since he has been at home which he isn't normally like and then tonight I spot he now has worms even though he is regularly wormed.
