About the Facility

Chatmar Pet Hotel, situated just off the Scorrier and Blackwater exit of the A30, has been owned by Cath Bond and Mac McCarthy since December 2005. This purpose-built facility, which includes both kennels and a cattery, has undergone significant renovations over the past three years to enhance its services. Fully insured and licensed by Cornwall County Council, the kennels provide a warm and comfortable environment with full heating and individual runs for each dog. Additionally, all dogs are exercised twice daily in an enclosed paddock, ensuring ample play and exercise. The pet hotel is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and on Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, but is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year’s Day.

Our little terrier Dora has been a guest at Chatmar at least once a year since she was a puppy, Dora is now 12 years old. The care Dora has recieved over the years at this establishment has always been excellent so I have no qualms about highly recommending Chatmar to all my family and friends, indeed to anyone that wants the finest of care and attention for their pet while they are away from home. I am able to happily leave our beloved pet in the care of this establishment and be confident that Dora is happy, well cared and stress free - which mean I can relax and enjoy my holiday knowing all is well with our pet.
