We have been using Pentyrch boarding kennels for the last few years, a few times a year for anything up to 10 days at a time when we travel abroad. My 3 dogs love it there, they are happy when we leave them and happy when we pick them up. It's a lovely location with rolling countryside and big paddocks for exercise, they let you take your own food and listen to specific requests. Laura is lovely and all the staff are great with the dogs, always happy to give you updates via facebook or message and let you know how they've been whilst there. I can travel with confidence that my beloved dogs are being well cared for with genuin dog lovers and I highly recommend them.

Put our two dogs in for boarding for 10 days, upon picking the dogs up it was clear both dogs were suffering with Kennel Cough. Disgusted that staff did not made aware that they have had a large number of cases of Kennel Cough. When I spoke to the manager, she felt that it’s not necessary to inform owners prior to boarding the dogs. Even worse though, is that they failed to make us aware the dogs were suffering during and at the end of the boarding, they just said it’s part of it. The following day we took our dogs to our local vets who have prescribed a course of antibiotics. One of our dogs is old and may not recover from this. Our vet has said the dogs would have suffered during their stay.
