About the Facility

Witherley Boarding Kennels, situated in Warwickshire and close to Staffordshire and Leicestershire, offers a “pawsome” boarding experience for dogs, earning a 5-star rating from Hinckley and Bosworth Borough Council. Established in 1969, Witherley provides a home from home experience, ensuring pets are cared for by passionate professionals who offer 1 to 1 attention, with one staff member living on-site for 24/7 care. Their purpose-built facilities, designed with pets in mind, include 60 dog kennels and 36 cat chalets set within a rural two-acre site on the farm, catering to both long and short stays. Special diets are accommodated, and pet owners are encouraged to bring their pets’ own beds or bedding to make them feel more at home, though comfortable beds and cosy disposable blankets are available if needed. Witherley encourages visits without the need for an appointment, demonstrating transparency and confidence in their care and facilities.

The staff at Witherley were brilliant. Sent us some photos whilst we were away and our boy looked really happy and settled. When picking him up there was none of the usual kennel smell on him or his bedding. Great kennels. Bear won’t go anywhere else now.
