Statutory Rights
Our returns policy complies with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. These regulations provide statutory rights that are independent of our returns policy, ensuring customers are protected by law.
1. Right to Cancel
- Cooling-Off Period: You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day you receive your goods.
- How to Cancel: To exercise your right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision by a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by post, fax, or email). You can use the cancellation form provided at the end of this document, but it is not obligatory.
- Refunds: If you cancel your order, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (except for additional costs arising if you chose a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us). We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than:
- 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
- (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
- if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel the contract.
- Reimbursement: We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earliest.
2. Returning Goods
- Return Period: You must send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than 14 days from the day on which you communicate your cancellation to us.
- Cost of Returns: You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the goods.
- Condition of Returned Goods: You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Goods should be returned in the same condition they were received in. If goods are returned in a different condition, we may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.
3. Condition of Returned Goods
- Responsibility: You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods. Goods should be returned in the same condition they were received in. If goods are returned in a different condition, we may deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any reduction in value.
4. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
- Rights: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if goods are faulty or not as described. These rights are available for up to 30 days after the receipt of goods.
5. Exceptions
- Non-Returnable Items: Certain items cannot be returned for a refund. These include:
- Goods that are made to your specifications or are clearly personalized.
- Goods which are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.
- Sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if they become unsealed after delivery.
- Sealed audio or video recordings or computer software, if the seal is broken after delivery.
